Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself. I had such a great week last week, so much fun connecting and seeing some of my regular customers and meeting some new ones. I had a party on Wednesday night, a private party on Friday, two events on Saturday, and then the farmers market on Sunday.
I wasn't sure how I was going to fit it all in. I didn't want to give up my Sunday morning mediation practice, but I do want to have a weekly station for you all to find me. As I rolled up last sunday morning in the bus, late after going to mediation, I figured I could slide in, set up quickly and that would be that. Just as I pulled into the school lot the horn on the bus went on. . . And stayed on. I honked my way through the market and my face was the color of the bus. What to do? Do I stop and stay here? Drive around to my spot? The big grass at Paul Eke can be HUGE while driving a bus with a blaring horn at 9am on a Sunday morning. Should I just own it and parade wave? Needless to say, I settled in to my spot, backwards, but I still made it. And the beauty of it all is I made a lot of friends that day while laughing at myself, and I supposedly woke up the neighborhood. Sorry folks!
Just when you think you know what you are doing life seems to send you a little wake up call just to make sure you are paying attention and keep you on your toes.
If you need me to roll up honking and hooting in your hood just let me know! Going to a birthday party and a fundraiser this week. Also planning some fun events with some local restaurants and coffee shops, so stay tuned for more luv thing shopping and fun.
And remember, don't be afraid to honk your horn and let the world know you have arrived!!
xoxo
