At the time it was so devastating to me seeing other families who had been dealt the same hand, but had very little financial means to help them on their long journey. Many of these families were going without food, transportation, or a warm place to sleep. Lots of just regular everyday people like all of us, losing their homes and jobs in order to take care of their sick child.
From the very beginning, giving back was the only thing that made me feel better. Christmas was coming and somehow my dear friends and I ended up adopting quite a few families, and have been ever since. We not only bought the toys on the list, but provided clothes, gas cards, food cards, sometimes a tree, blankets and one time even bunk beds.
Now as the years have become a bit more financially challenging for all of us, I thought I would reach out and ask if this year you are looking to give where you know someone here in the San Diego area will be more than touched by your generosity, this is the place. Please feel free to drop off gift cards for gas, food, Target, or even a CVS here at the store. Or if you have something to donate or would like to know more about our project please feel free to contact me. Our wish is to continue to deliver a little Christmas love to as many familes as possible. Thanks in advance for your generosity.
