I am so grateful to say that I had non stop amazing women coming through my door over the past several days to shop. It wasn't crazy by any means but a steady flow of 1 or 2 people shopping and sharing. The highlight of my day was when I had just one customer. A very special one, Anna Young. Anna has been shopping at my store for a long time. I know her, as many of you probably do. She is absolutely gorgeous and looks so full of life, however something so simple like breathing has never been an easy task . We talked for a couple hours, Anna shared her story and told me about the upcoming double lung transplant that she is about to have. Breathing, something most of us take for granted, but not Anna. I was amazed at her strength as I listened.
In a matter of weeks, Anna will be put on the transplant list, hard for anyone to wrap their head around, waiting for that kind of call. Once she receives the double lung transplant she will need 24 hour home care for 2 months in the LA area.
This girl has a long road ahead and really needs the support of our community.
