The following letter is from Heather O'Quinn, organizer of Circle.
Before you read this letter I want you to take a big beautiful deep breath...... and release...... Feel how delicious it is to bath your sweet lungs with breath, oxygenating your brain, and body....
(Anna Young simply cant do this without extreme effort and pain....)
I first met Anna in a CIRCLE gathering at Bergamot Spa. My attention was glued on her as she labored to breath the entire night. Fast forward Anna and I became friends and over time she candidly shared her journey with a rare Lung Dis- ease she has been struggling with since she was 8 years old.
Recently Anna contacted me to share the news that she had been accepted as a candidate for a double lung transplant and would be placed on the official list. (This is her only hope to live a "normal" healthy life) Our conversation immediately jumped to the financial aspects of this daunting procedure. 24 hr care for a month post transplant, helicopter transport when she gets the call, food, medicines etc. and not to mention the cost of the surgery itself. (Thank the Goddess for her insurance that has paid a HUGE chunk of the surgery) but there is still a hefty balance to be paid & Anna can't work as she is currently in and out of the hospital.
The decision to donate 100% of the CIRCLE registration fees to Anna came from my initial feeling of helplessness. I moved into my heart and asked The Divine "what can "I" do for this woman who is suffering so much?"...... CIRCLE was the answer.... CIRCLE, gather the tribe, connect to the ONE HEART and dive deep! ..."YEP" I said... "This IS what I can do"
From this point forward the Divine has completely taken over. The beautiful owners of Soleil Yoga donated the space & the Retail Goddesses of North County have organized a pre CIRCLE Love filled shopping experience you dont want to miss! So as we prepare to Gather on Saturday April 21st I would ask each and every one of you taking the time to read this to say a prayer for Anna's healing and safe journey on her path to the transplant. Send her a prayer for easy breath and a pain free body! (Do it now!!!!! please....)
Note: I was with Anna this last weekend. She is currently in ICU experiencing pain that we cant imagine. Our sister needs us! Lets do what we can do... Lets CIRCLE.
